Beachamwell is a small village in south-west Norfolk that lies at the meeting place of two very different landscape regions: Breckland and the Fens. It has four churches, its own apple variety – and links to the Devil!

Following the success of the Connecting Threads project, researching footpaths in our village, the Beachamwell Local History Group was set up in autumn 2014. We are open to anyone interested in exploring the rich and varied history of our village.  We have regular meetings at which we can share our knowledge and research, and all learn together.

Please have a look around our website where you can see what’s on locally in terms of local history events; links to websites of possible interest; a list of useful resources for study and research; and how to contact us.
