Miss Reeve’s Battle
The story of the wartime eviction of 800 people to make way for creation of the Battleground training area in the heart of Norfolk brought to life by Georgette Vale as Miss Lucilla Reeve, a stalwart of the community which was changed for ever.

Constance Villiers Stuart and India
Arriving in Beachamwell as a young girl and living at Beachamwell Hall until her death in 1966, Constance Villiers Stuart was a strong character who led a long and varied life. Mary Ann Prior will talk about her time in India before the First World War and how her interest in Indian gardens led to the publication of her groundbreaking book on the subject, The Gardens of the Great Mughals
